tiny lives film 2014

I was touched and privileged to be invited to the preview screening of the 2014 promo film for the charity Tiny Lives, which supports the Newcastle Neonatal Service by helping to fund the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. I have written about why this amazing charity needs your help before, now more than ever.

I have been supporting Tiny Lives on our charity auction page Bids For Babies and we are now working to top up our Christmas Auction total with a text giving campaign – and this video goes a long way to encouraging those extra donations.

Please watch the film and think about texting TINY49 £1 to 70070, and share this post with the hashtag #Text4TinyLives.

I know demand for your charitable donations is always high these days, a sad fact that so many great causes need help, so I leave it up to you whether you contribute or not. But if you watch this – hear the real parents tell their stories with tears in their eyes, learn about the work of the amazing professionals caring for their little patients, see the tiny fragile babies surrounded by wires and monitors – and like I did, find yourself with a lump in your throat, you know what to do.
